Welcome to the Dumas -the Last Best Brothel in Butte.

The Dumas Brothel Museum would like to give you a welcome as big as the Montana sky!  We are located at 45 East Mercury Street in the heart of the ‘ol red light district in Uptown Butte, MT!

Updating the Dumas Brothel website was on our ‘much-to-do’ list since 2012, so when thedumasbrothel.com domain expired, we created our new site, thedumas.com.  We wanted a central theme for the new site; a place to serve our loyal customer’s and keep our many dependable supporters informed on what’s happening around here.  The new website has been designed with this focus in mind.  We hope that you enjoy how interactive and user friendly it is!

You can now book a tour, reserve a room, donate to the Dumas restoration, or simply send us an instant message -right from the site!  No more shuffling through emails or voice messages- this is ‘whole customer service’ and interactive communication at its finest.

Afterall, since the Dumas is famous for providing, “100 Years of Joy” we must carry on this tradition of excellence.

From our souvenir gift shop, to the assortment of antiques we have for sale throughout the brothel museum, thedumas.com will allow us to showcase what has become of the landmark building since we purchased it in 2012.

Thank you all for your continued support of this noteworthy project!  Contact us for more information about how you can help save Butte’s last-best brothel, and get ready to become a part of the legend!

  5. Hi! I’m a friend of Jason Giecek and have been aware of the Dumas for awhile. I live on Vancouver Island. We often stop at the Pioneer Restaurant at Whippletree Junction, BC. They have a legend that the bar was shipped from an unnamed hotel in Butte. I told Jason about it and he said the bar is missing from the Dumas. I don’t know if it really is the Dumas bar, but I am attaching the website so you may look into it, as I’m sure that would help you to know where it is and be able to compare photos of it to photos of the original.
